On November 1, Tri-County EMC, in partnership with the Eatonton-Putnam Chamber of Commerce, hosted an Electric Vehicle Demonstration Day at the Plaza in Eatonton.
More than 150 attendees heard from nationally-known speakers about the growing electric vehicle industry. With topics including charging, range, investment and lifestyle, attendees got a glimpse of what it would be like to own and drive an electric vehicle in daily life.
“If you’ve got electricity in your house, you’ve got all you need to drive an electric vehicle,” said Cornelius Willingham with Nissan.
Following the speakers, attendees were able to test drive several electric vehicles.
