And you won’t pay a dime! All expenses are paid by Tri-County EMC.
Make Connections with Political Leaders
On the Washington Youth Tour, you will have a chance to visit our Nation’s Capitol and see government in action. You’ll even get to talk to some of the most influential people in Georgia and the U.S..
Make Friends from Across Georgia And the US
You will travel with more than 100 teens from across Georgia on the Washington Youth Tour. Once in D.C., you will meet representatives from across the country that were chosen by their EMCs to represent them on the Washington Youth Tour.
Learn What it Takes to Be Come a Leader
Before you head to D.C., you’ll spend an evening doing teambuilding exercises and learning leadership skills with delegates from across Georgia. This is a great way to get to know other delegates on the trip and you’ll learn skills you can apply in your daily life.
It’s more than a trip. It’s an experience that can change your life.
We hear it every year. Delegates come back with rave reviews of the trip. For some, it truly is life changing. Many students will change their college plans or rethink their career goals after attending the Washington Youth Tour.
