James Major Stanford was named Tri-County EMC’s finalist for the Walter Harrison Scholarship. He will go on to compete in the statewide scholarship competition for one of fourteen $1,000 scholarships. Statewide scholarship winners will be announced in April.
James is a senior at John Milledge Academy. He plans to attend Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College and earn a degree in the Forestry Program. Upon graduation, James plans to pursue a career with the USDA Forest Service.
