Planning Ahead for Hurricane Irma
We are monitoring Hurricane Irma's potential path and encourage you to do the same. While the exact path of the storm cannot be predicted at this time, a storm of this magnitude will surely deliver strong winds to our service area. With strong winds come power outages.
Monitor the Hurricane at the National Hurricane Center.
We ask that all members be prepared for potential power outages. Have water, non-perishable food, gas in your vehicles, batteries, flashlights, a weather radio and a charged cell phone with a backup battery or car charger. Know how to report a power outage to us via phone, text, website or myTCEMC app.
As with any major weather event, we will do our best to get power back to you as quickly as possible. However, we do appreciate your patience if lengthy outages should occur.
See what is happening with outages in our service area by checking our outage map. Also, follow us on Facebook and Twitter storm and outage updates.
