October is National Co-op Month! This is a month where cooperatives across the U.S. celebrate the cooperative business model and celebrate their co-op members.
As a cooperative, Tri-County EMC wouldn’t exist without our members. Our core business purpose is to serve as your electricity provider, but the larger mission of the co-op is to make our world a better place.
Similar to how our wires run through our service area, our concern for community flows through all of our decisions – because being a co-op means being a responsible good partner and good neighbor.
We are proud to support local youth through scholarship and leadership programs. With your help, we offer grants through the Operation Roundup Grant Program to provide assistance for the community’s most vulnerable and support projects for the betterment of the service area as a whole.
In addition, we are working to meet a need by providing an option for fiber internet service with Tri-CoGo. This will provide connectivity for members in areas that could not previously have adequate internet service in their homes.
Tri-County EMC is continuously examining ways to operate more and more efficiently while continuing to provide the highest level of service you have come to expect from us. After all, we’re your local co-op. We were built by the members we serve.
