"The Washington Youth Tour was a great experience for me," says Tri-County Youth Tour Delegate Allie Chambers. "Getting to meet state and national legislators made me feel like I was part of not only the history of what had gone before, but also history in the making." Chambers, a high-achieving senior at the University of Georgia who plans to pursue a masters degree in Public Health, frequently see’s fellow youth tour delegates on campus. "A few of them have even become my best friends."
Advice Chambers gives for future WYT prospects? "This trip is all about expanding your boundaries and making a place for yourself. Indulge in your unfamiliar environment, get to know people, enjoy the scenery and just have fun." <<
