Foundation Awards June Quarter Operation Roundup Funds

Baldwin County 4-H Club: $1,000 Funds will make it possible for 4th to 12th grade students to participate in conferences and leadership workshops who otherwise could not afford to attend.

Baldwin County Foster/Adopt Parent’s Association: $750 Baby gear will be loaned to families in need with small children.

Boys & Girls Club of Baldwin and Jones counties: $2,000 These fees will sponsor two children at the Baldwin unit and two youngsters at the Jones unit.

City of Gray Jones County Volunteer Fire Deptartment: $900 Fire safety education materials will be provided to 400 children.

Georgia College & State University Involved in Volunteer Efforts (GIVE) Center: $2,000 The funds will cover the costs of a Potato Drop providing nutritious sweet potatoes for the hungry.

Holt’s School, Inc.: $1,250 Funds will cover the cost of roof repair of a culturally significant two-story frame building to be used by the community.

Jones County 4-H: $1,100 Tools, t-shirts and contest fees will be covered for 4-H judging events.

New Salem Baptist Church: $1,000 Funds will assist with expenses for an elderly couple who has fallen behind financially due to major medical problems. <<
