Youth Leadership Conference Recap

Through various activities like the ropes course team challenge and personality profile exercises, participants learned how to work with people with different styles and outlooks. The Congressional Insight activity gave students a deeper understanding of why their involvement in the political process is vital. "They (the activities) will help me work better with others and let me use my strong points to help people," says Posey. Students also heard presentations from Georgia EMC, Dairy Farmers of America, Staplcotn, Farm Credit Banks and the outdoor outfitter cooperative REI.
