Prepare for Annual Meeting; Packages to Arrive in Early October

Tri-County EMC will hold its 67th Annual Meeting on Thursday, Oct. 19 at the headquarters office in Gray.  Registration opens at 6 p.m. and the business meeting begins at 7 p.m.

Your Annual Meeting package should arrive by the first week of October. It will feature the 2006 director candidates, ballots and instructions for voting by mail. When you complete and return your ballot, you will automatically be entered in the drawing for one of ten $50 prizes or the $500 grand prize. 

The director candidates of Post 2 are:
Mr. Mercer is a 20-year veteran of Tri-County EMC where he was the operations manager. For the last 12 years he served as a director for District 1 (Bibb, Jones and Twiggs counties). He is an electrical inspector for Macon and Bibb County and also teaches continuing education for area electricians at Central Georgia Technical College. 
 
Mr. Thompson serves as chairman of the Board. Since 1985, he has represented District 2 (Jasper, Morgan and Putnam  counties). Mr. Thompson is the president of Tom Thompson Company, Inc. and General Partner of Eatonton Dairy Farms, LLLP. He earned a BBA in Finance and Accounting at Emory University. He also served in active duty in the U.S. Air Force.

Mr. Noles is Secretary/Treasurer representing District 3 (Baldwin and Wilkinson counties) since 1986. He owns Medical Arts Pharmacy in Milledgeville and is a pharmacist. Mr. Noles graduated from Georgia Military College and the University of Georgia where he earned a B.S. in Pharmacy. He is a Deacon and a Sunday School teacher for Haddock Baptist Church.
