Four local students each received a $500 scholarship through Tri-County EMC's Operation Roundup program. Each year, the Foundation awards $4,000 in scholarships to deserving students who receive their electricity from Tri-County EMC. Applicants are evaluated on academics, financial need and community involvement. Priority is given to nontraditional students who have returned to school and are working.  Energy Tip of the Month

Tired of always turning out the lights for other people after they leave the room? Consider installing a wall occupancy sensor. It can easily replace a standard light switch and automatically turn lighting on when you enter a room and off when you leave.  Wall switch occupancy sensors feature designer styling without the obvious look of a scanning device. The sensors allow you to enjoy the magic of hands-free light switching.
