<< Back Foundation Awards Funds Through Operation Roundup  >> The Tri-County EMC Foundation awarded $9,000 to the following local organizations in June: Central Baptist Church: $5,000 to help a couple replace items lost in a house fire.
First United Methodist Church: $500 for a church nursery as part of an established memorial fund.
Gray United Methodist Church: $1,500 for rent and food for a family who lost their jobs due to husband's illness.
Putnam Christian Outreach: $2,000 for materials to lower a ceiling to control heating and air costs.
The Foundation reviews applications for funding quarterly. To be considered for assistance, the Tri-County EMC Foundation must receive applications by the first day of March, June, September and December.
