<< Back Tri-County EMC Foundation Awards Operation Roundup Funds 
>> On March 9, the Tri-County EMC Foundation awarded $18,650 in Operation Roundup Funds to the following local organizations:
Baldwin County Citizen Advocacy: $700 to replace a computer.
Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Oconee: $500 toward art supplies for an activities program for local unmatched children.
Boys and Girls Club of Baldwin and Jones Counties: $1,500 for school supplies and a copier.
Eatonton Presbyterian Church: $2,000 to send two parents and a child to a Spina Bifida conference for education and support. Eatonton-Putnam Arts Foundation: $2,500 to help preserve historical items in a new community museum.
Habitat for Humanity of Putnam County: $250 for computer software used in tracking donations, allocating pledges and managing projects.
Jones County 4-H: $800 to send 30 children to Camp TRRFCC!, a summer character-building camp.
Jones County Fire Festival: $500 for family festival featuring exhibits focusing on safety.
Jones County Volunteer Fire Department: $900 for DVD camcorder to record emergency situations for use in training. Operation Early Intervention: $1,500 for a two-week summer workshop targeting anger management and conflict resolution for at-risk youth.
Putnam County 4-H: $2,500 to fund Junior and Senior District Project Achievements and reward trips.
Putnam/Jasper Association for Mentally Handicapped, Inc.: $5,000 to provide furniture and cabinets for new facility. <<
